Last year, I went Ueno Park during daytime. It was like tunnel of Sakura and people were enjoying eating and drinking.
This yaer I went Ueno Park at night.
Ueno park is one of the best 3 Yozakura(Night Sakura Viewing) place in Japan.
Others are Hirosaki Park(Hirosaki City,Aomori Prefecture), Takada Park(Joetsu City, Nigata Prefecture).
I entered from near Keisei Ueno Station’s entrance. There was large lantern.
Lanterns are illuminating Sakura. But it was a little dark.I could not see Sakura well. But it was beautiful atmosphere.
Kiyomizu Kannondo temple.
I could go up from here, but I went Shinobazu Pond.
Upper area is where I walked last year.
At night, there will be drunkard’s paradise.
Let’s go toward Shinobazu Pond.
Shinobazu Pond is over the road.
There were many food stalls in front of Shinobazu Bentendo. And so crowded!
There are many Sakura trees around Shinobazu Pond.
Light floods from Sakura.
It is possible to walk through side of Bentendo. There was so corowded!
Here is opposite side.
This area is darker. Sakura is not lit up. Only street lights.
I looked for best place. But it was difficult.
Sakura is too dense. But I could enjoy its beauty. Bentendo’s color is also good. It stands out in darkness.
At night, focusing is difficult. And wind swings flower. This photo was lucky.
Sakura with Ueno’s City lights and reflections.
Toh-Ten-Koh is famous Chinese restaurant. With pedestrian path.
Finally I could find the best place!
Bentendo looks like hiding in Sakura. Building on the left side of Bentendo is Ueno Seiyoken. It’s famous French restaurant.
Tokyo Skytree is seen from Shinobazu Pond.
During daytime, here can enjoy boat.
Panorama view of Shinobazu Pond.
Panorama view as Bentendo centered.
Usually, Shinobazu Pond is covered with water lily. This was my first time to see clear water surface.
Pedestrian path. There are some benches.
Unfortunately it began raining. But rain and ghost made powerful effect!
Please find your best place at Shinobazu pond!
