Along Kanda River near Edogawabashi Station, there is beautiful wall.

Here is the entrance of Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. This is called Kabukimon gate. Not main entrance. But here is easy to enter garden.
Garden is opened to visitors until 11:00 PM during Sakura season. Here can enjoy beautiful light up with Sakura.

Though here is metropolis Tokyo, garden is full of nature. This is Goshinboku (means holy tree).

Since Nanboku-cho period(1336-1392 A.D), this area was famous for camellia.
“Chinzan” means camellia’s mountain in Japanese.
An important parson in Japanese history Aritomo Yamagata (1838-1922,Field marshal and Politician) bought this area in 1878 and build house and garden. He named it “Chinzanso”. Here was held important conference.
Now here can enjoy seasonal beauty with light up. Sakura petal are streaming on the pond.

One more charm is Japanese traditional art works. Many traditional artworks were moved and preserved here.

In autumn here will be dyed beautiful autumn colors.

This is Hotel’s building. Of course visitors can stay.

Light up color changes in a few minutes.

Three-story pagoda stands out in garden. Collaboration of traditional architecture and modern lights looks cool!!

If you go Kanda River, I recommend to visit Chinzanso too.
To take a walk in garden is free. You’ll able to touch nature and tradition!
Using tripod is not prohibited. But here is dark, so please refrain from using in case crowded.
