Last weekend, I visited “Dialogue with Trees” Exhibition at TOKYO METROPOLITAN ART MUSEUM, Taito-Ku, Tokyo, Japan.
TOKYO METROPOLITAN ART MUSEUM is located at Ueno Park.
Ueno Park is full of nature. Its color changes every season.
And there are many museums. There can enjoy both nature and culture.
Here is entrance of TOKYO METROPOLITAN ART MUSEUM.
Designed bu Japanese architect Kunio Maekawa. Built in 1975.
And it was restored from 2010 to 2012.
Inside of gate, there are some installations.
A large silver ball is “my sky hole 85-2 light and shadow” by Bukichi Inoue in 1985.
I always play with its reflection.
It catches sky and buildings.
Looks like wave in the sky.
Distortion is beyond my forecast!
Interior of museum. Beautiful long straight.
This exhibition is related trees.
Sensory Cells-2016 Ginko by Kyoji Takubo.
Geometric tiles were also beautiful.
Maybe this is permanent collection.
The same work. I edited with photoshop to express metallic texture.
Wooden statues by Masayoshi Tsuchiya.
They are so smooth and fine. So beautiful.
Gold trees by Masayoshi Tsuchiya.
Inokozuchi by Masayoshi Tsuchiya.
CHI VA PIANO VA LONTANO 2016 by Takamasa Kuniyasu.
This was the largest installation I have ever seen!!
I felt power and affection.
Comparing to human, you can understand its size.
This is made with ceramic block and logs.
I enjoyed a lot!
If you have a chance to go to Ueno, Don’t forget to check exhibition of museums!!
Recently, photography permitted exhibition is increasing in Japan.
So people who loves photography will be more exciting to go exhibition.
Most of them permitted publishing on SNS.(Of course no profitable use only).
But most of exhibition is prohibited to take photos. Or partly permitted.
Actually, this exhibition is partly permitted.
Please be subject to rules.
