Umayabashi Bridge is designed as triple arch. There are many bridges at Sumida River, but triple arch is only here.
I feel strong and stable impression from Umayabashi Bridge.
Coincidentally, 厩(Umaya) means “stable”(barn for Horse).
So, for this bridge “stable” has two meanings.
Once here was stable for carrying rice.
The name “Umayabashi” comes from it.
This is a bottom. Blue pipeline is accent of design.
And surface is so strong.
Light with Skytree.
Frames cut sky and scenery.
Toward Komagatabashi Bridge. This direction is upper stream from Umayabashi Bridge.
Here are a lot of relief of horses.
I think strength and sophisticated design is charm of Umayabashi Bridge.
I found strange object. Surprisingly,it was toilet!
This toilet is located Kuramae station side of the bridge. Next to police station.
And this is twilight time.
There were small harbor in front.
So I had to crop. And houseboats were staying on the right.
House boat passed through.
These photos are my first long exposure 30s photos. So I think they are a little rough. Next time, I’ll try longer time and more calm photos. F number was 22. So it is too much shiny. But I like shiny photos.
And these are another day. Evening scene from near Komagatabashi Bridge.Upper side from Umayabashi Bridge.
I emphasized highway. Because orange light trace on highway was so beautiful.
And another day again.
I tried only evening scene.
This day was also beautiful sunset.
I could see pastel evening. It was so cold. But I was so happy.
One more photo. This day was cloudy.
I made shiny photo with lightroom.
River side around here is well paved. So it is easy to take photos. And of course, using tripod is no problem.
