From the end of March to beginning of April,Sakura(cherry blossom) becomes full bloom!
In Japanese old literature,if Hana(means flower) appears,it means sakura. Not other flower.
Japanese people love sakura deeply from ancient era.
This year,I went many places to see Sakura in Tokyo.
So I introduce some famous Hanami(Cherry-blossom viewing) places from this article.
First place is Rikugien Garden.
Here is located in Bunkyo-Ku,Tokyo,Japan.
Famous for Shidare-Zakura(meens Weeping cherry tree).
In this word, pronunciation of Sakura changes to Zakura.
It depend on continuing of pronunciation.
Nearest station is JR Komagome station.
And easy to go on foot.Very near.
Here is entrance.
Though I went in the morning, there are many people.
But I could enter soon.
There are full of nature.
Surface is a little rough. So visitors should go with sneaker.
Here you can have a brake.
And this is Shidare-Zakura.
Shidare-Zakura is different from famous Sakura.
There are some kind of Sakura in Japan.
Famous Sakura is “Someiyoshino”.
Branch of Shidare-Zakura is softer than Someiyoshino or other kinds.
So its branch weeps.
And full bloom is earlier than Someiyoshino.
So many people enjoy Hanami!
Rikugien is beautiful Japanese style garden.
Here is also famous for Tsustuji(means Azalea).
From late of April to early of May,beautiful Tsutsuji is seen.
I want to go again.
General view of Garden.
I discovered Yamabuki(Kerria japonica).
It was powerful yellow!
I went here daytime.
But Shidare-Zakura is lighten at night.
It is also nice!
Use of tripod around Shidare-Zakura is prohibited.
