Do you know Kokyo?? It is Imperial Palace of Japan. Former Edo castle.
It is residence of Tenno(The Emperor of Japan).
Now Kokyo is famous traveler’s destination.
Visitors can enter until permitted area.
There is also a park. There are many historical sites and beautiful nature.
This park is called Kokyogaien.(“Gaien” means “outer garden”. So “Kokyogaien” means outer garden of Kokyo.)
There are moat around Kokyogaien.
In this article, I introduce photogenic moat at Kokyogaien.
Moat is surrounding Kokyo.
But photogenic place is located along Hibiyadori street.
Because this area is facing office buildings. They are shiny. So visitors enjoy beautiful reflection.
In addition,this area is well prepared. So easy to walk and take photos.
Here is Babasakibori. In this area buildings are so cool and interesting.
Because there are mixture of retro and modern design buildings. Visitors can enjoy daytime too.

This is opposite side. Hibiya direction.

Sometimes wind disturb calm water surface.
Here is Hibiyabori. Next to Babasakibori. Toward Hibiya direction.
I walked to opposite side.
Buildings over Hibiya Park. Buildings on the right are Kasumigaseki. There are Japanese Government and public agencies.

Next I go to Wadakurabori.
On the way to Wadakurabori, I introduce some buildings.
These buildings are also along Hibiyadori street.
Here are many photogenic places!
This is Meijiseimeikan building. Next to Babasakibori.
This building was built in 1934. After WW2, Allied Council for Japan was held here.
Retro design and cool light trace!
These are Tokio Marine Nichido Building(center) and Shin-Marunouchi Building(center right).
Both buildings are cool design. But When I saw them at night, it looked like Psyco Gundam before stand.(A robot weapon of Japanese Anime). Psyco Gundam
And This is Tokyo Station. This side is Marunouchi Entrance. I failed Horizontal level.
And here is Wadakurabori. Here is narrow. But reflection is beautiful.
Because large shiny buildings are facing. Toward Otemachi direction.
Building on center is Nihonseimei Marunouchi Garden Tower.
Left is Palace Hotel Tokyo.
And,can you see the bridge?? It is Wadakurabashi Bridge.
It looks like Tetris…
Under water world.
Opposite side. Toward Hibiya direction.
These are very near! All located along Hibiyadori street. Easy to access.
But I have to give an advice.
If you want to take reflection photos,you should go week days.
There are few light on holiday. Of course you have to take into account the time.
