From this article,I introduce several places at Shinjuku station west entrance area.
This is The Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Head Office Building.
The Sompo Japan Nipponkoa is insurance company.
Gentle slope design.
It’s so huge. This angle is maximum of 24mm lens.
This is 3 minutes long exposure. Surreal expression.
Here is huge crossing. And pedestrian deck is constructed. Its name is Shintoshin-hodoukyou(means New Urban Center pedestrian deck).
So I took these photos from there.
Here can include light trace of cars.
But for me, it was impossible for only 1 shot .
So I composite 4 photos.
Light trace made “X”.
If you have wide angle lens, it will be more easier to take photos with light trace.
I had a little difficulty to composite photos.
Here is about 5 minutes from Shinjuku Station West entrance on foot.

Shinjuku Station / Many lines
(Shinjuku is huge station. Easy to access.)
Nishiguchi (means West Entrance)
Shinjuku Station is so complex. I paste link of map.
But I recommend to ask someone. In Japanese “Nishiguchi wa dokodesuka?” means Where is west entrance.
There are large bus rotary and Odakyu department store and Keio department store.
And you’ll find Odakyu HALC and Cocoon tower on the right. You have to cross the road. And please walk street between Odakyu HARC and cocoon tower. There will be crossing and pedestrian deck in front of Sompo Japan building.
